Dr. Terry Murphy
Dr. Terry Murphy was an RN for 20 years before becoming a physician.
She attended medical school in Denver Colorado before her residency in Sacramento California where she worked with Life Flight for 2 years doing an ultrasound study on trauma patients. Her research won a national award and was highlighted in EMS Magazine.
While in California, she was the president of the EMS Medical Directors of California Association (EMDAC) for a time as well as the EMS Medical Director for El Dorado County which operates 14 rural and urban fire departments and a much expanded scope of practice.
When she was called to work in Moses Lake, her whole family was excited to live and serve in a new part of the country.
Grant County EMS CQI Medical Event Report
This form should be filled out when there is a protocol violation, adverse patient event, high risk procedure, or report of excellence in care. The form and PCR is then forwarded to the agency CQI representative who reviews it, and then to me as appropriate. A CQI policy is forthcoming.
